my intention was to start my journal ages ago, but i never really got around to actually writing any entries. its not that i dont want to write, or that i have nothing to write about—i always have something to say, but never quite the right words to accurately express whats on my mind. ive always envied people who are fortunate enough to have what i consider a gift— having a way with their words. what i am describing is not mere eloquence, as i feel as if this is a term fit for people who have learned to lace pulchritudinous words into their everyday speech—i mean, it sounds nice, but theres no depth to it otherwise. rather, it is the potency of their language that i so desperately wish to have reflected in my own diction. and what i still havent been able to wrap my mind around is how naturally this all comes to some people—they dont have to think twice about it, while i, on the other hand, spend hours perfectly crafting my sentences until ive deemed them worthy of ever even being uttered (why i dread writing essays). its all really a matter of insecurity to me—will i sound stupid for saying this? is this even grammatically correct? now i just feel like ive rambled on for too long about something that no one else will find relevant but whatever lol
